About the event
Our next office hours session will be Friday, December 6th, 2024, with FBI AIA COO Sierra Stanczyk, who will share her experience about transitioning to a full time role within the cyber threat intelligence (CTI) industry and seeing the opportunities for those with 0132 training and backgrounds (both with and without cyber experience). Sierra has also presented at numerous cybersecurity conferences, including the SANS CTI Summit, Philly BSides, and RSA.
Sierra left the FBI in 2021 as the IPC in Philadelphia. She previously was an SIA over the office's counterintelligence and cyber intelligence squad. Sierra also worked cyber matters for CD and CyD and earned her master's in cybersecurity from UMBC in 2014 while working at HQ and commuting from JEH.
